Our Expertise is in Prevention

When we discover child sexual abuse, we count on support from those who are trained in trauma recovery.

In addition to children who require support services, we often meet adults who have had their own experiences of child sexual abuse.

Whether the person in need of recovery support is a child, or is now an adult, we strongly encourage everyone who has been affected by child sexual abuse to seek out professional and/or specialized support from people who understand trauma and the path to recovery.

These are the local public service providers that we refer to:

Secondary Wounding

Expertise and specialization in sexual violence recovery has come a long way, but it is still common to hear that it takes multiple phone calls to multiple organizations to find a service that can meet your needs.

Secondary wounding is a real risk for people seeking support for sexual violence recovery.

We hope that you will find the support you need. Please don’t give up searching for a solution that works for you.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)

  • Qigong

There are many useful and helpful professional methods of trauma recovery.

One of the modalities that we have developed confidence in is Somatic Experiencing®.
